When I started in BtoB SaaS sales in 2014, I really sucked at it. And all other Salespeople in the scale-up as well. Nobody reach targets until I managed to do it first time in company history in 2017.

That is when I realized that not always the salespeople are at fault. But rather that the environment is incredibly crucial as well.

In the following three startups, I was the first salesperson who sold the product – and then helped all the other salespeople succeed as well. It was difficult in its own way every single time.
